Aura machines are not medical machines and do not treat, cure, or heal diseases or their symptoms. You should always ask your physician before using any type of PEMF machine. PEMF machines should not be used by anyone with a battery implanted device, such as pacemakers, cochlear implants, intrathecal pumps, etc. Magnetic fields are known to interfere with these machines. PEMF is also not recommended for clients who are currently pregnant or using chemotherapy.
PEMF will pass through the body whether it is of high or low intensity. Everyone is built differently, therefore the intensity of one client may vary from another’s. The difference is the amount of charge the field will stimulate in tissues as it is passing through the body. Higher voltage is more effective when low voltage isn’t enough. High voltage PEMF also produces a sensation that you can actually feel which helps reassure the machine is working.
Depending on the current state of health and wellness, you can expect the body to feel an overall sense of well-being. Just like any other wellness modality, the way the body responds will vary from one person to another. There are lots of factors that influence this, including diet, lifestyle and your physical activity. We advise checking with your physician to make sure Aura is right for your body.
In some cases, using Aura for the first time might feel a sense of fatigue. This may be the body’s response to ridding itself of toxins. If you experience detox after a PEMF session, we advise to take in plenty of fluids and have plenty of rest.
Normal session time is 10 to 30 minutes. We recommend daily sessions at first. As you experience longer relief times, you will adjust accordingly (i.e. 2-3x/wk.) However, everyone is different. The best recommendation is to listen to your body. Please note: More chronic issues may take longer to experience relief.
